”Ideal for a 1 night stay. May need to explain that when they say ‘breakfast included’, its a basket including cereals, croissants, biscuits and yoghurt. Not actually a hot breakfast or a breakfast menu in the pub. Lovely staff. Nice and clean room.”

”The room was so tastefully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfy. Dan was so helpful and very communicative. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others. ”

”The Green Man is a lovely place to stay, nicely decorated and clean, comfortable rooms. The beer garden is an added gem in the summer months. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Our only complaint was that there were insufficient staff in the bar and restaurant to cope with high demand at the weekend. I however would definitely recommend the Green Man and will look forward to my next stay.”

”Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)”

”The hotel grounds were unkept & certain areas of the hotel were a little past their sell by date! However the Receptionist when checked in was very helpful & polite despite the fact that most of her technical appliances were down. The Barman at the restaurant side of the hotel was also very good.”

”Lovely, spacious room, with great A/C, which was well needed during a recent hour spell! The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. And breakfast was great!”
