Mountain Home sijaitsee aivan Banffin pääkadun varrella, ja se on täydellinen tapa ottaa Kanadan kuuluisin ja kauniin kansallispuisto.

Extremely basic amenities in the bathrooms- given the daily accommodation rate we paid. No device supplied to remove snow from front path- had to borrow from a neighbour.We may have been staying in a hotel, no warmth in communication- they noted that they manage over 100 places and offered a 5% discount on further stays up until the 30th December 2025 with the offer sent to us January 2026.

The main floor and upstairs rental offers a wonderfully open and airy living space that’s perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The bedrooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—making the stay very enjoyable.

Fantastic location in Banff. Easy walk to River and town, Older home but beautifully renovated. Perfect for a family or adults traveling together. Every room had good size updated bathrooms. Will definitely rent again!

Family vacation

Our family of 10 adults spent a wonderful week in Banff. This home was the perfect location, the property manager was very responsive, and had we not run into the tenants who live there when we first parked, we would t have even known they were there. Would for sure stay there again!

Good location but disappointing

The location of this home is excellent- easy to find and perfect for enjoying the town of Banff. That said, we were disappointed in the condition of the house overall. It felt a bit run down, and the kitchen was especially frustrating. It was disorganized and missing many basic supplies you’d expect in a rental. We cooked two meals during our stay, but it was difficult and required improvising with random items. Things like tiny room fans, crusted shower heads, a toilet that started leaking and became unusable for the last 36 hrs of our stay, and a moldy washer are just a few examples of details that made the stay uncomfortable. The space has potential but unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations.

We stayed here with our family for the Easter weekend. The location is a quick walk to Banff Ave. with plenty of parking. The house beautiful and well maintained. The host was communicative and quick to answer any questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful house in a winter wonderland. The house had comfortable beds, plenty of room for our family to spread out, a well-appointed kitchen (only missing measuring cups/spoons), and a perfect location close to action but quiet at night. Exchanges with the property manager were pleasant. Highly recommend!

Mountain Home was just what we were looking for

A wonderful and casual home in a perfect location. Just two blocks from the main intersection in Banff. The kitchen and bathrooms are recently-renovated and were very clean. If we return to Banff, we will definitely rent again.

Multi-family ski trip

This property deserves more than 5 stars for location! Not only are you a block or two from the Main Street, but the free shuttle to Sunshine was just 2 blocks away.Also, having en suite bathrooms for each bedroom made it really convenient for our multi-family stay.The house was well appointed with the basics like dish and laundry detergent, plastic wrap, paper towels, etc. Would highly recommend!

PERFECT location, and super comfy!

Seriously, to be around the corner from all the restaurants and shops and amenities was amazing. Banff is such a cute little town, we definitely will come back - and we will DEFINITELY rent this house again! The beds were awesome (something you normally can’t say about vacation rentals), and all the rooms were well outfitted. I thought that the rental only having 1 TV would be an issue for us but we enjoyed the area so much that we never even turned it on. Thank you, and we WILL be back!

Location is excellent, with parking. Rooms are spacious and every bedroom has it's own bathroom. Walking distance to down. Quiet at night......Would come back in a heartbeat!!!

Great location to the town of Banff!

We are very glad we selected this property. The proximity to the town of Banff is only 2 blocks away - where we enjoyed fabulous restaurants and shopping - plus the amazing views. We were able to walk to many sights, if not, our adventures were not too far away by car. The property also was great for our family with the 4 bedrooms and connected bathrooms.

The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Every couple had their own bathroom. The bedrooms were spacious and clean. The house was very conveniently located just 2 short blocks from Banff Ave.

Great house

This is a fabulous house in so many ways! First off location, location, location! We loved being so close to Banff Ave. We could walk to coffee, lunch, dinner, a drink, shopping, the grocery store, the Banff sign, even our Roam shuttle to Lake Louise. Second, the house has 4 bedrooms and each has a private bath. That many bathrooms is almost unheard of when renting and it’s a luxury we appreciate! Other positives: beds were comfortable, management company was very responsive, kitchen was stocked well enough. Just a couple small things dinged the overall experience. The curtains in the main bedroom aren’t wide enough to cover the whole window. There was a 6 inch gap on either side and the street below gets a decent amount of foot traffic. We managed by dressing in the bathroom or in the dark but just odd. We couldn’t control the heat and it got a little warm at times. We did contact the management company who directed us to the thermostat in the kitchen but it didn’t work. I’m sure they would have sent someone had we asked. The biggest negative was the tenant downstairs is actually the owner and it felt a little uncomfortable at times. We got ‘shushed’ leaving for an early hike one morning, something I would assume is not unusual for Banff. We also had a chilly interaction with the owner in the parking lot. It made us feel a little bit like we were staying with a grumpy aunt who was annoyed we were there. Despite that, we would stay here again for all the positives!
