This hotel was decent and adequate. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen appliances are a nice touch. Shower is good and and the room is spacious. Friendly front desk. Here’s what concerned us-the lack of security. Front door was unlocked and open for anyone to come in. Then the door that leads to the rooms also seems to remain unlocked. The only time we felt unsafe, and downright scared for our safety was our second night we stayed there. At around 2:15 am we were awoken by a woman screaming down the hallway, almost like she was screaming to keep someone or something out. My heart started racing and I looked up the emergency phone number just in case. After a little bit the screaming stopped, and a few minutes later we heard men’s voices, but we couldn’t hear what they were saying and we don’t understand the language that was spoken. The first night was very quiet even with it being New Year’s Eve. The morning when we checked out nothing was said about the incident, but I would like to know what happened. Our minds were all over the place the night it happened and it really disrupted our sleep. We stayed there Dec 31-Jan 2.
