Very nice house located very close to downtown Bar Harbor. Ideal for large groups (family or friends). Very well equipped to cook family style meals and enjoy friends and relatives. Walking distance from town / restaurants. Highly recommend it!

Our family stayed for a week in October. The property was large, secluded, yet amazingly close to the park, popular trails, the beach, and Bar Harbor. The basement game room was a hit with the kids and the jacuzzi was enjoyed by all. The property offers many opportunities to see wildlife including deer, fox, raccoons, coyotes, and even bear. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Acadia!

Highly Recommend

The location of the house was perfectly situated between the village of Bar Harbor and Acadia. We really enjoyed the size of the house as we had a large group with 13 people to accommodate. The basement was great for entertaining the kids!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our family and very convenient toboth downtown and Acadia. The kitchen was awesomeAnd gathering space very nice.It was hot when we were there so the house was a bit toasty during the day but very comfortable at night.

Perfect for multiple families.

House is as advertised and more. Location is great. So close to town. House was wonderful for 6, 15-17 year olds. Everyone had enough room and there was great space for game nights. The property manager was delightful and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great last night to weekend stay in Maine

We had a great night at Strawberry Hill, we stayed one night as an end to a weekend camping trip. I would highly recommend them for any group/family looking for a house with a lot of space and great for families of all ages with the activities provided. Thanks for a great ending to our trip!

Fall in Bar Harbor

The home was beautiful with plenty of room for 9 people ! The house is conveniently located to town and the park! We couldn’t have asked for better weather and fall foliage. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Family Reunion

Finding a home for a family reunion is no easy task, however this house accommodated us all. The house was clean, secluded, and within a moderate walking distance of main streets in Bar Harbor. Everyone in my family was satisfied with the stay.

Weekend trip

We only stayed the weekend, but would have loved to have spent more time here! We were able to be with family, but still have our own space as needed. We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the house had to offer! Would book again!

Fantastic Bar Harbor Retreat

We had an amazing stay at this spacious, spotlessly clean house in Bar Harbor. It's conveniently close to downtown, with a beautiful backyard and all the amenities we needed. The kids loved the basement with ping pong and foosball and the basketball hoop in the driveway. Highly recommended!

Lovely home

We enjoyed the spacious rooms. Everyone had a place to go for some down time. There were games, toys, and lots of fun things for the kids of all ages to do. The yard was nice. Everything was very clean. The host was extremely helpful and very prompt. Our family had a very enjoyable experience.

Great space for a family reunion

The house was perfect for our group of 16 ages 12 to 54. We were easily able to host an 80th birthday celebration for my mom. Plenty of seating for 20 people. The house and sleep arrangements were pretty ideal compared to other stays at other locations. My only suggestion is extra towel sets!

PERFECT

We arrived to our Strawberry Hill home and six of us found the bedroom that suited our needs. The home was SO VERY CLEAN and EVERYTHING was GREAT. We found a shorter route to Main Street by turning right at stop sign which was helpful. We shopped at Hannaford grocery, ate at the Reading Room which was DELICIOUS. If I wanted to add something to my BRING list I would suggest a face mask to shut out the light in the mornings from the shades. The sauna was DELIGHTFUL and I haven’t played PAC-MAN since FOREVER. We had a BLAST and this home was PERFECT.

Family reunion

The property is spacious and in a great location. Close enough to walk into town and tennis courts. The property management was extremely helpful and friendly. They repaired clogged sinks and replaced non functioning grill during our stay. Cleanliness of property was lacking but management did try to address this issue also.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This lovely home home suited our 3 generation family of 11 perfectly. From the amazing kitchen for preparing family dinners, seating for 12+ to the game room downstairs for the grandchildren. Access to Acadia and Bar Harbor was great. The staff at CMV was super. They responded to all questions within minutes! I would stay again!

- The kitchen area was nicely set up. Could have used a few more full size dinner plates, tongs and other utensils.- Glad that the gas tank for the grill was full. - Enjoyed the sauna!- Great host response for everything that we was asked about. e.g. no smaller garbage cans were available in the kitchen, but a solution was quickly provided. Outside light was very bright at night, but host told us where the off switch was. - Didn't realize from the pictures/description that the full bath on the first floor was en suite to a bedroom and not readily available to everyone else to use. - Excellent location close to Bar Harbor, yet quiet, even with the MDI Marathon going on that weekend. - Some of the beds were too soft, some too firm. Maybe they could be flipped, rotated or replaced.Loved the place and already booked it for next year- same time!

Great location

Our family - 13 total - spent Labor Day weekend in Bar Harbor and this was a great place for us. Very spacious! It was close to town (approx a mile) but not within walking distance for our family of small children. The children enjoyed the woods, the game room downstairs, and being in Acadia. The house doesn’t have central air but they provided a floor unit air conditioner in each room which meant the rooms often were either hot or cold. I would recommend and stay here again if our family is ever back in Bar Harbor.

Great large group location for Bar Harbour and Acadia

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location for a large group with kids. Our family ages ranged from 2->78. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and AC units in most rooms. (Check closets if no AC in a room) Nice clean property part way up Strawberry Hill. Walk-able into town, but we drove part way then walked, to avoid parking problems. Basement has all sorts of games and game tables. Large fully equipped kitchen, gas grill on deck, and large Roku equipped TV in living-room. Property management company responded rapidly. Be careful of letting kids explore the woods as one stumbled over a hornets nest and got stung. We never did find the first aid kit, which is supposed to be there.
