”Note: We stayed in early May, before peak season. We loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. The hotel itself, the staff, the breakfast. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. We asked for late checkout on our last day because we wanted to go for one last hike and then come back and shower, and it was not a problem at all. I imagine that would be different had it been peak season, so I'm glad we booked in the off season. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bar Harbor. ”

It's a little bit of a walk to the Bar Harbor shops and restaurants (25 minute walk/3 minute drive), but parking is free and so is breakfast! There is a restaurant on site that we did not eat at, so I can't review, but the breakfast was good and convenient (hot & cold choices). Hotel is right off the beach; highly recommend splurging for the ocean view!”

”Hot water was a bit slow to get. It’d take about 5 minutes for the hot water to even start when using the shower. Other than that, this property was very nice.
