The staff of Island Place were very kind and set this place apart from other Bar Harbor options. We were heading into town for a wedding and they helped make sure we were checked in and ready to go! ”GREAT PLACE AND LOCATION if you want to be in the middle of things. Walk to everything. We stayed in a cottage and had privacy while still in the heart of town. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely stay there a rain.”

”The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure.
