The service was excellent. The hotel is tired and looks like it has been renovated 1974. Also the curtains and blanket is from 1974. Would need some fresh up. The walls and doors are paper thin. You think your neighbor is right outside your door, though they are inside their room. You can hear them snoring, vomiting and everything....

Yövyin toista kertaa tässä hotellissa. Hotellin sijainti on aivan loistava, voi vain astua ulos La Ramblalle ja olla kaupungin ytimessä. Metrolle on lyhyt matka, vanha kaupunki on kirjaimellisesti kulman takana ja Placa de Catalunya noin kilometrin päässä. Rannalle pääsee myös kävellen helposti, toki on vähän kävelymatkaa. Huoneemme oli hyvin kulahtanut eikä tämä toki ole mikään hotelli hienoimmasta päästä. Aamiaisella, joka kuuluu hintaan, on lähinnä patonkia ja croissantteja, leikkelettä ja juustoa. Mutta henkilökunta on auttavaista ja ystävällistä ja hintaan ja sijaintiin nähden loistovaraus.

If location is everything...
Hotel is located next to La Rampla, so you are in the heart of the city. Unfortunately the hotel is quite outdated and the noise from the street might be very disturbing if your room is from that side. Breakfast was okeyish, but lacking all the fresh vegetables. The service in the hotel was excelent and very helpful.

Came to Barcelona to catch a cruise ship. This hotel is perfectly located, walking distance to an enormous amount of restaurants and shops. It shows its age but it was comfortable and met all of our needs. We go to Europe to experience the culture not to stay in fancy hotels. Thank you for a great stay!

The staff at Cuatro Naciones are extremely friendly and helpful. There is someone in the lobby 24 hours a day and they are ready to answer all sorts of questions. They have great suggestions for restaurants and the best way to get where you want to go.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the person that handled our luggage, we were a party of 6 (three couples) and he was complaining that we all came at the same time, he was lazy.

The building is old at the same all areas, but all the staff and service are excellent, they are friendly and suggest the best places to eat and go shopping. Our stay was wonderful and I recommend for everyone and families. This Hotel is perfect place.

Cuatro Naciones is a little run down but if you are looking for a great price, centrally located in Barcelona (right on La Rambla), easy access to the metro, with breakfast (included), and great water pressure (!!) you truly can’t do better. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for two nights after a cruise. Friendly staff, clean building and room. Breakfast provided had everything we could ask for. We loved the history of the hotel and the past celebrity visitors. Would definetly come back
