”Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.”

”The car GPS wasn't very good but I managed to use the directions on my phone. The rooms are across the road from the actual hotel. The food was really tasty especially the Full English breakfast which was inclusive. The Accessible room was very comfortable& the wet room was great, just what I needed. Definitely recommend this place.”

”The barn was a lovely place to stay. The weather was very hot so the air conditioning was brilliant and meant an excellent nights sleep. It is in the centre of the village and an easy walk to the Crown pub and Berts Barrow a local wedding venue. Breakfast was also lovely- couldn’t fault it!”

”Hidden paradise”

”Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”

”Decent sized room (stayed in deluxe double) for 2 nights. Admittedly didn’t feel particularly deluxe as the furniture was old and it felt a little tired. Clean enough but could do with a refurb. Car charging onsite was handy and good location without being stuck in city centre.”

”Room was lovely, everything clean. Our room went out onto the garden at the back near the bar area which felt like you were in a little secret garden. Even though close to the bar there was no noise and everyone was very respectful. It has a lovely atmosphere here. Staff were all really lovely and very helpful couldn’t fault this place at all. Really good area just a short 30 minute walk into the centre.”
