”I don’t know how this hotel isn’t a health and safety violation in itself. Don’t get me wrong, for £50 a night I wasn’t expecting luxury, but the condition of the place was shocking. There were four separate groups of us staying there, and every single room had a large patch of mould growing above the headboard, which was quite horrifying. The taps and sinks were barely attached, our bathtub had a hole in it, and the guests next door had their door constantly open, with a strong smell of weed...

”Accommodation was okay. Some areas a bit tired looking but generally clean and well kempt. The ladies on reception went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Always a smile for anyone they met. They are a credit to Days Inn. Major gripe is that parking is charged at £5 per night on top of the rate. The car park is clearly theirs and only a few vehicles parked there overnight. I have a blue badge, parked in one of the disabled bays throughout our stay. There was no concession for this...

”Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”

”A beautiful rural location with wonderful countryside views and nature in abundance in an elegant and very well cared for property. Attention to detail in seen throughout the hotel from arrival in the car park, through a perfectly manicured courtyard and pleasant reception area. My room looked out onto fields . Two large windows that let a lovely breeze into the room. Elegantly decorated room with all you need for a comfortable stay and perfect sleep. The bed was a dream. I slept all night...

”Short visit whilst visiting Sheffield. Good location, easy to access motorways. Check in quick and friendly, got an early check in as I had contacted to request in advance. Room lovely and clean with tea/coffee and a large TV plus WiFi with no charge. Reception staff very nice and couldn't help enough. Would return if in the area again.”
