”Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. You had to drive under 5 mph to try to retain the floor of your car. The second was...

”Have stayed here a few times. Staff are always courteous, helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. My only gripe would be that the shower unit could do with a shower mat to prevent slipping and falling and that the shower temperature was not quite hot enough even when turned up to full. Nevertheless overall it was a pleasant overnight stay and I will continue to book here in the future when visiting Sheffield. ”

”Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall.”

Poor carpet dirty thick marks badley frade at inner door, flickering bed lights, Bathroom door not shutting, Bathroom wall paper miss coloured patchy ,Toilet loose on wall, Basson waist pipe cross threaded, Bath area two chains on plug and not connected, tiles not grouted, 4 tiles slack agents wall. No alcohol licence so could not have a drink. Male receptionist hard to understand. High risk of electrical fire or being hit by loose tiles.”

”Very nice service and good and fast connection to city centre. Rooms were a bit tired but I got used to it quickly. Would recommend to people who wan't to save and don't need anything special in their room. Much more tv channels than in most hotels.”
