”A good find, lovely room, only downside for elderly less mobile was shower over bath but it was a great shower. Staff very attentive and polite. Food at dinner was good, freshly cooked but a little slow. Great setting and would recommend and certainly go again if in the area.”

”Breakfast and service was excellent but the room was severely lacking in storage. The wardrobe had a hanging rail too high for most women to reach and there was no other place to put other clothes, or flat surface for the usual items. Hopefully this will be addressed in an otherwise pleasant hotel”

”Absolutely do NOT RECOMMEND! Do not book! It says on the booking description please contact property if check in is after 10pm, tried calling all day- got through at 6pm as their ‘phone lines were down’ to be told - no late check in! Refund not given! Was booked as a wedding present for bride n groom on their wedding night!”

”Booked just for one night so apart from sleeping there we really only experienced the breakfast. Must say this was excellent with good quality ingredients and quick service.
But disappointed that we were unable to get a snack in the afternoon as the chefs had left and not back until dinner prep.
Room and bathroom was very clean. Parts of the hotel were well worn particularly stair carpet”

”Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms, cozy inn with locals coming in for dinner, wish I could have stayed longer beyond the wedding I was visiting for.
Oh! And there was a cute sheep sitting outside!”

”The room was nice and large with a comfortable king size bed. It was in a lovely position. Most of the staff were friendly. The food was fine and not expensive. The breakfast sausages were good.”
