Huoneistot kohteessa Barranco de Guayadeque

"The hotel looked great on the surface and the pool area, location and entertainment were lovely. The restaurant personnel was great. However our room had a weird woody/sweaty smell and during the evening of our first night at the hotel we found the room to be full of small cockroaches. They were everywhere. We informed the hotel personnel about this and managed to get our room switched twice until we found a room with no weird smell and no cockroaches visible. Our clothes and luggage were cleaned by the hotel, but we still needed to contact pest control back in Finland to get all our luggage cleaned. This basically ruined the mood for our whole holiday. Our stay was not compensated for by the hotel as we booked via Ebookers. Despite the hotels efforts to get us a room with no visible infestation we were left with the feeling that the problem was not taken seriously with comments from the staff like “maybe they are just ants”, “this has not been a problem”, “in my experience those creatures don’t look like they would invade your home and maybe they don’t even survive in your country”. The hotel also told us that the species was excluded to be anything harmful by our pictures and room inspection. Not harmful by their regards meant that the bug does not bite humans. Our pictures show easily identifiable cockroach nymphs most probably of the German cockroach species. As such we were left with the feeling that the cockroach infestation might continue uninterrupted at the hotel."

"Siisteys ja hygieenisuus oli otettu huomioon todella hyvin myös hotellin julkisissa tiloissa ja käsidesiä oli saatavilla useassa eripaikassa."

"Hotelli oli ihan ok, mutta olimme odottaneet 4 tähden hotellilta vähän enemmän luksusta. Päivittäinen siivous oli hyvä, mutta palvelu respalla ei ollut niin asiakaslähtöistä. Antoivat myös väärää tietoa esim. kuntosalin aukioloajoista. Aamupala oli pettymys! Valikoima oli suppea, ja hedelmät olivat melkein aina mennyt huonoksi. Uimaalueet olivat erittäin hyvät! Paikkoja oli reilusti, ja tunnelma rauhallinen. Aktiviteetteja oli myös paljon, mikä oli iso plussa!"

"Oikein onnistunut loma kohteessa, kaikki toimi niinkuin pitikin!"

"Yleistunnelmaltaan rauhallinen, lasten kanssa oikein helppo ja mukava. Siivoukseen oli panostettu ja se näkyi. Rakennus itsessään paikoin hieman kulahtanut. Alueena erittäin rauhallinen. Aamiainen oli hyvä, lounas ja illallinen ehkä hieman vaatimattomampia mutta ajoivat asiansa. Pysäköinti onnistui helposti lähikatujen varsille."

"Hotelli todella siisti ja viihtyisä. Pieni miinus oli hissien hitaus ja ahtaus. Meillä all inclusive joka oli hyvä ja edullinen vaihtoehto. Ranta ja pieni ostoskeskus ravintoloineen noin kilometrin päässä hotellilta. "

"Yleiset tilat remontoitu ja siistit. Huone kulunut ja keittiö kalusteineen uudistuksen tarpeessa. Yhdistetty perheasunto, iltauringon puolella joten ilmastoinnin puute ei haitannut. Ruoka monipuolista ja hyvää. Hetkittäin ruuhkaista ravintolassa. Allas lämmitetty ja mukava. Alueella ja hotellissa paljon portaita, keskustaan n1000 porrasta. Hyvät treeni mahdollisuudet. Vuokra-auton otin hotellilta, kuten myös lentokenttä kuljetukset. "

"Sijainti oli hieman sivussa, mutta hyvien kulkuyhteyksien tuntumassa. Päivittäisessä huoneen siivouksessa toivomisen varaa. Yleisilmeeltään kuitenkin siisti. Ruoka oli laadukasta, mutta puolihoitoon kuuluvalla päivällisellä olisimme kaivanneet enemmän vaihtoehtoja viikon reissulla (ei ollut buffet vaan suppeahko alacarte -lista). Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. "
