Yksityiset loma-asunnot – Barrowhouse

”We lived the quietness and the fireplace for reading.”

”The hotel is a true old world charm property set in a very peaceful and serene environment. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. The bed especially is very comfortable. The food and service is also excellent even though it is very full at weekends as it is a popular wedding and event property. There is a true commitment to quality and sincere warmth in both staff and housekeeping.”

”Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. ”Close to town of Carlow”

”Good location, great parking facilities. I have stayed a number of times at your hotel and always enjoy the good atmosphere and facilities of your hotel. My room was double booked due to an error with the third party reservations company, the male receptionist on check in on the evening of the 21st June 2026 was not that helpful when I explained the situation to him, he treated me as if I was of artificial intelligence but I have to thank the receptionist at check out (Natalia) when I brought...

”This was a great place! The car park was around the back of the building with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the bar restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waiter, John, gave us excellent advice on things to see and do in the area and Trish, one of the managers, went above and beyond with hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again.”

”Basic but functional room. Check in was fine but a man of few words.”

”Clean, warm and the made to order breakfast was great.”

”Everything very nice, lovely ambiance”

”Baari erinomainen”

”Bedroom was a really good size. Good storage space with a safe and fridge. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower. Really good choice of Gluten Free food available both for breakfast and evening meals.”

”We had a lovely stay at Firecastle. Kildare is a magical area with lots to do and see in walking distance. The room we stayed in was beautiful and well appointed, breakfast was delicious and the staff were all really nice. I highly recommend Firecastle.”

”Hotelli oli viehättävä ja hyvät ravintolat vieressä, jossa myös aamiainen nautittiin.”

”The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. The Pub was full of great people and Matt was super friendly.”
