”I am wary of doing chain hotels but chose to stay here due to the location and the fact it boasted a "fitness facility". The location was convenient as it was sited at a Welcome Break services. I was able to park close to the entrance. I was warmly greeted but on checking in found out that there was a separate £5 charge for overnight parking which was not disclosed at the outset of booking the accommodation. There were multiple dining options either within the services complex or at the hotel...

”unfortunately they had a computer breakdown and we could not check in at midnight. the manager worked very hard to help us and other guests but we were tired and chose this hotel after travelling from salzburg.”

Our breakfast was included which was fantastic as it was a full English breakfast cooked to perfection. Loved our time there and would highly recommend for anyone”

”The bed was awful but other than that nothing to complain. The surroundings were lovely.”

”The restaurant was great. Was a good place to stay for a function. You pay for what you get. Was not expecting a lot for £65.00 pounds. Very old facility so also can not expect a lot. Unfortunately our TV did not work well as we tried to unwind for the day, and the toilet would not flush. I would still give it another go to stay.”

”We visited the hotel for a business meetings nearby. The place is very traditional English Inn. Nice pub with good food. The rooms are clean and ok, but the place is a little worn down. I a still like it.”

”The check in was excellent with a lovely manager who clearly knew how to provide wonderful customer service. The room was lovely and fresh, very spacious and had everything we could need. Breakfast was delightful. Will definitely stay again.”
