”This is a classic property in Williamsburg VA. The property is well maintained with loads of old world charm. The restaurant on the property is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. ”

”Charming and tastefully decorated, immaculate. Room spacious enough. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic but nice (great coffee, toast, bananas, pop tarts). Only two relatively minor issues. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great, and the window unit that provided heat was very noisy. Would definitely stay again!”

”This is a lovely place to stay. The site itself is beautiful. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and its history. They helped us use our time there more effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at The Aldrich House. We would return if we ever end up back in Williamsburg.”

”The front attendant was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was quiet despite the fact that a large group of students was staying. The decor was Interesting but the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was standard but the coffee was actually good. Very close to William and Mary and Colonial Williamsburg. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay there again.”

”The suite we stayed in really needs updating. The shower did not match the luxurious description on the website. The carpet was in need of replacement. I literally found a large, dead roach right by the foot of the bed upon check-in -- how was this missed by housekeeping? The tvs and remotes were very difficult to navigate and internet slow. I removed the top cover from the bed, as it appeared as though not washed and used sheets and a cotton blanket. The windows really needed cleaning and...

”It seems the property went through some renovation recently and it was left in really good shape. We got a two bedroom suite which was exactly what we were hoping for. The location is great, really close to downtown. I would most certainly recommend people to stay at this place.”

”It was a very cute room. Very historic. There were ants all over however. But the location was the best. If you are looking for a quiet retreat the Market Square Tavern rooms are not for you. The cannon goes off a lot and drum and fife play frequently. But you can walk everywhere from it.”

”Okay hotel. Front desk staff was very nice and decent breakfast. Hotel seemed a little run down. They were in the midst of remodeling, so that wasn’t very pleasant to walk past. But hopefully after the updating it will help with the outdated feel of the place. Great location. ”

”The hotel was very nice, with clean rooms and nice grounds. The breakfast was decent for just $5 for two people and even though some people complained on their reviews, I didn’t have any issues. The staff were nice. I save the best part for last you can have your room clean everyday. I love this. We stayed 5 days. it was a great stay. ”

The staff was all absolutely amazing, everything was spotless, and their breakfast taco/burrito bar is, hands down the best free hotel breakfast I have ever had. My kids also had a blast in their indoor saltwater pool. We were there every morning and every night. I couldnt recommend a hotel more!”

Different types of properties, ours was dated but clean, smelled fine, spacious. No breakfast without a sales pitch but that was expected. Do look at your receipt: $17 resort fee not included even if Expedia states everything included. But that is not on the resort. Overall a great value for...
