”We enjoyed our stay. The air-conditioning was turned up so high, and there was a vent over our bed blowing cold air on us all night long, which made it a little uncomfortable. ”Lovely stay. Great location, 5 minutes from Forsyth Park. Room was charming & clean, with lots of antiques. Perfect, cool temperature. Breakfast was delicious, with a continental bar of yogurts, muffins etc available. & a served, plated breakfast. The plated breakfast was hot & home-cooked, great quality. The dessert hour was super tasty as well. Check in was smooth. Lively farmers/artisan market on Saturday mornings at the park, must do! Bonus for the local cat garden nearby - so sweet!!...

”I was a little skeptical at first because the lobby smelled a little musty and it is an older in, but the room was spacious and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff could not have been nicer and not having to pay for parking was a big plus! Very conveniently located across from River Street and some wonderful restaurants. Be sure to have your parking ticket validated each day before noon. In our case, when we attempted to validate early afternoon, we had to exit the garage, pay the parking fee, and then re-enter, which was inconvenient. ”This is property is primarily an event and meeting facility. The staff, particularly the concierge were excellent. Unfortunately, there was no bellman for 9 AM check out . The only evening dining available is a small menu in the bar/lounge, with seating in a large open area used for event. Breakfast was available in a second floor restaurant that only seres breakfast. The other breakfast option is room service.”

”The room seemed clean at first. However, the bathroom mirror had two large cracks in it. Later in the night I was made aware of several cockroaches in the room. I spent the whole morning trying to trap and kill the cockroaches. I have video evidence of the debacle that ensued.”
