”This was a wonderful stay from start to finish! The inn is not nee and shiny but it IS old snd charming. The chef was super cool. Christine the manager (owner?) was great. She was accommodating, always helpful, and truly a special host. Becca our waitress was great too and deserves praise as well. Our room was cute and had all the necessities one needed. I'd DEFINITELY return!”

”Wonderful stay at The August House! Our renovated room was comfy and cosy and the bathroom was gorgeous. Loved the thoughtful touches throughout the house including ice cream sandwiches in the kitchenette fridge! The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! ”

”Good hotel, good evening dining options and quality of meal. Bar area was good for pre dinner drinks. The included continental breakfast was a bit limited and the yoghurt (a la carte) was no longer available because stock was run down at end of season.”

”Very friendly staff, beautiful surroundings. Room was a bit small, without room for luggage, but the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the onsite restaurant was booked both nights we were there, and it’s a drive to eat anywhere else, so we bought some food in nearby town and ate at a picnic next to the vineyard- beautiful evening with spectacular sunset views. Breakfast in the dining room was very nice, especially because the staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome. ”
