This is the view overlooking the Bay of Fundy from the tip of Cape Split, Nova Scotia. A nice 13 kilometers return hike to the end of the cape. The trail is well maintained, but watch the weather as it can be sunny at the trail head and then be foggy at the end. There are some trails down the cliffs to the coastline as well, but be very aware of the tides as many people have been stranded due to the fast tides.

Digby is best known for whale watching, huge scallops, and delicious clams. The harbour is also photogenic.

The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The dinner was first class, very nice people. The only reason for a lower rating was the paper products were very cheap and rough, and the cable was very poor. All in all a very good experience!

Clean and comfy room, complete with a sitting area with a wonderful view of the bay. Excellent restaurant. Was quiet this time of year, had games room/grand salon pretty much to ourselves! Enjoyed the turn of the century decor and the beautiful grounds. Will be back!

The Shubenacadie River is a river in Nova Scotia, Canada. It has a meander length of approximately 72 km from its source at Shubenacadie Grand Lake to its mouth at the historic seaport village of Maitland on Cobequid Bay, site of the building of the William D. Lawrence, the largest wooden ship ever built in Canada. The lower 30 km of the river (from the point where the Stewiacke River meets to the mouth) is tidal and the river experiences a tidal bore twice daily, with some bores reaching up to 3 m in height at certain points along the river. A great place to go for a day trip in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Cape D'Or lighthouse on the Bay of Fundy is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the journey and never crowded. Perfect location to enjoy some peace and quiet while taking in the ocean scenery and tall cliffs along the coastline. To see one of the best sunsets, it's best to stay the night. There is a seasonal restaurant and small inn at the lighthouse keepers buildings.
