”The room was stunning & clean. All the staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast choices were very good and lots of choice. The Villa was about a 15 mins walk down hill to centre or 5 mins bus ride. Great overall would definitely reccomend. ”

”The property is a wonderful grade II listed building with oodles of character. The breakfast room is exquisitely decorated with busts of famous peots in which you can eat a sumptuous cooked full english breakfast. The property is wonderfully peaceful and the beds as beautifully soft and comfortable. If you are looking for a modern sparse hotel then this is not it, and you should look elsewhere. If you like a wonderful property with bags of history to it then you are in luck!”

”There were four of us, with a BIT of luggage, so we took a taxi from the railway station. It's about 15 mins walk from the station to the guest house, so if you are backpaking it should not to be a problem. With heavy luggage take a taxi. We got two first floor rooms (the same floor where the reception is), I took a room looking on the miniscule yard, my friends had a street view - with a balcony! As there is double glazing, I shouldn't have worried about noise. The beds were firm enough, and...

”The Bailbrook Lodge is a very old, traditional hotel, shabby but spotlessly clean with lovely white linen. Our en suite had a rolltop bath. Rumour has it the room next to ours is haunted but we heard no noise whatsoever during our stay. As it is pretty close to the centre of Bath we got a taxi in and out to the sights rather than take the car. Staff were very friendly and I would recommend a stay here. Only downside was the Wifi which only worked intermittantly and on the ground floor rather...
