”Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.”

”Flat was bright, spacious and airy. Very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Super location. City centre walkable but we used the very frequent buses from the bus stop 2 minutes walk from the flat. Buses are easy to use with contactless cards. Just tap in and out. Bath is a beautiful city well suited for pedestrians. The flat has off-street parking but there was plenty of parking available on the street. ”The property was exactly as stated in the listing. Very clean and good proximity to central bath. The host was super responsive. I would definitely recommend this place and would have been happy to stay longer than one night!”

Overall was a great stay, only disappointed that the taxes and fees are so high, and that I did not receive the check-in instructions in advance so I had to reach out to get that just before I arrived.”

”The apartment is beautifully decorated and of a high standard. The location was perfect for us - lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well as attractions. Bud and train station are also convenient although we didn’t use them. Paid parking lot is right across the street. Overall we loved it here !”
