”i stayed here with my cousin to see the poppies on the pier and the fireworks.The room was really good clean and quiet being away from the noisy part of Southend but still on seafront and just 20mins walk was good for us.The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful we spent the eve in the bar and we will def stay there again.A really lovely great little hotel.”

”Mannermainen aamiainen oli hyvä. Se sisälsi mm. kahvin, leivän, jogurtin, hedelmiä, mysliä, juustoa, leikkelettä ja keitettyjä kananmunia.Vastaanoton nainen oli hyvin ystävällinen. Poislähteminen oli vaivatonta. Sijainti oli erinomainen. Huone oli pieni, mutta mukava, vaikka olikin hieman nukkavieru. Hiustenkuivaajan olisi voinut lainata vastaanotosta. Voisin yöpyä toistamiseen. Continental breakfast was good. It included e.g. coffee, bread, yogurt, fruits, muesli, cheese and boiled eggs....

”The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.”

”Cruising from Tilbury so looking to drive up from Bristol the day before and find a nearby B&B. Found the Campanile on Expedia based on price and distance. Read the reviews and thought "How bad can it be?" Well - not bad at all! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room for the night and extremely comfortable bed. Close to dual carriageway but we didn't notice any traffic noise. Evening meal a bit "ready-meal" but a great breakfast and late check-out if you want it. Will definitely stay again...

”We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time).
