”Came for a short stay had everything we wanted and was able to use the pool, sauna etc without paying any extra. Could have had more staff serving at the bar. Guy behind reception was great the room was clean comfortable and had everything we needed ”

”hieno kokemus. hotellin lähellä kymmenen minuutin kävelymatkan päässä oli idyllinen jokireitin sulku, jossa hyvä ruokapaikka. Hotellista oli heikosti opastettu kulku sinne. Haluavat vieraiden tietysti ruokailevan hotellissaan. Sululta (lock) menee hyvä kävelyreitti Oxfordiin tai voi hypätä jokilaivan kyytiin, jolloin pääsee noin 40 minuutissa perille.”

”OK room, with carpet. The flushing system in the bathroom worked poorly. My shower had good pressure (top floor) but my friend who lived on ground floor could hardly wash her hair because of poor water pressure. The over all appearance was that the hotel needs a big face lift, but has good potential. It was cold; the public bathrooms were freezing; the conference rooms were cold,- bad air-conditioning. It seemed worn, and there was a scent of unfreshness in the corridors that seemed like too...

” Booked 2 twin rooms, but one room was made up as a double. Reported this to reception straight away. Said they would alter it by 7pm. Didn't happen. Reported to recetion in the morning and the room was set as a twin by the time we had returned that afternoon . And we were offered a bottle of fizz.”

”Smart, comfortable room. Lovely lighting choices, black out curtains. Main bed & sofa bed, very comfortable. Smelt very clean. Tea and other choices of drink, including biscuits. We could adjust heating of the room to our liking. Lovely spa facilities to make use of including pool, jacuzzi, steam & sauna room. Dinner and breakfast options fabulous. Tasty and well presented. Loads of parking in the grounds of the hotel. Wasnt aware of parking charge of £25 for one night, until after I booked.”

In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home!
