”We had such a wonderful four days at the cabin. Our neighborhood goes crazy on the Fourth of July. This was a great escape for us - some fireworks nearby but much more manageable for us. It’s off a gravel drive with very friendly neighbors. Our pups all loved to run the land and hang out on the wraparound porch. The property is as described and was perfect for our small group. My husband and I took our dogs on a great hike to Hughes Mountain in nearby Leadville. We would stay here again. ”

”Easy to book; friendly staff; keycard entry; clean cabin and porch; quiet; grounds well kept; kitchen had all needed items ( maybe add a toaster) ; screened in porch ; air and fan. Good cell reception , pretty lake ; good location ”

”Absolutely incredible cabin! The host was very accommodating in the cabin was very clean. I will definitely stay again in the summer! Peers for swimming and a secluded quiet area. The cabin is an excellent condition and very well equipped. The spot tub was excellent and the satellite internet was more than acceptable! I can't say there was anything bad about this place. I loved it! The host is very good at communicating as well.”

We made this a short working getaway, and were able to work from the kitchen area with no problems. There are plenty of restaurant options within a short walk, and the town is a great place to take a quiet stroll. We've been to the area a few times recently, and it has been refreshing to see the progress this family is making in restoring...
