The location is perfect—right on the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and everything you need in town. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations and activities. ”After we arrived we straight bookend third night. Could stay longer! Whole Hopkins area were nice, good restaurants and friendly helpful people there. It’s safety to hitchhike there. Very nice people at the hostel too, nice shared areas. Easy to get to Cockscomb in the jungle to maybe see some jaguars. No AC at rooms so that’s something you need to get along without.”
