”Our first time back in Belize in 18 years . Umaya was the perfect place. The views over the lagoon towards the Maya mountains are perfect backdrop after a day at the beach and pool. The staff were great, very helpful with booking trips etc. The restaurant is excellent and the wood burning Pizzeria provides a great alternative. We will be back ”

”Absolutely fabulous resort with amazing staff!! We loved our stay in Placencia Belize at Sirenian Bay!! Everyone from the time we booked our stay to our last day in Belize made us feel welcome and a part of their family. The food and drinks were delicious and abundant. ”Very nice greeting upon checkin and property was clean and well maintained. Parking lot accessible only by walking on beach path. Pool was small but refreshing and we had breakfast at the bistro and the food was good. Room had a balcony overlooking the ocean and the sounds of the waves was great in the evening. 15-20 min drive to the town but there are several restaurants and convenience stores close by. Overall, would definitely stay again. ”

”STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. ”
