”We stayed for two weeks in the Turtle cottage. A great base location for visiting Caye Caulker. Having read the reviews about the street noise we specifically booked The Purple Pearl cottage on the quiet side of the complex, only to find out just before boarding our plane that they had double booked and we got bumped to the Turtle Cottage on the noisy street side. ”The room was clean and had many of the basics. The property description is a little misleading as there is no beach on the property. There is a seawall and an amazing pier, but do not expect a beach or a good place to swim. The water is very murky and full of sargassum, and unfortunately a fair amount of trash. ”We rented all four cottages for a family vacation. The accommodations were great. The walk was a little far some days but bikes are available for rent. Michael responded promptly to my emails. The setup worked well for our family of 16. ”
