”Nice and cosy inn at a very calm area. We made the booking just minutes before but it was no problem. A warm welcome and delicious dinner. Extra points for using such local ingredients. Also a well equipped bar with a relaxed atmosphere. Room was clean and had all the needed. Maybe a bit worn out and the bed was quite squeeky. However we had a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Especially great was the possibility for glutenfree breakfast. We would definately stay here...

”Staff downstairs in all areas were very friendly, room & bathroom was essentially very clean apart from a lot of crumbs inside the room drawers, not that we needed them for one night but maybe check the drawers.... Unfortunately we were on the 4th floor and there was a private function above which was incredibly noisy from when we got back from dinner until midnight. Although we were offered a room swap, we had already showered, were in PJ's and were trying to watch a film...”

”Easy to access, nice look, room was spacious and bed was excellent. Bar was open until 23:00 and had common beers in a tap, food was good, a bit bland to my taste but fresh and good quality. Wifi was slow.”

”My husband and I only stayed overnight but wished it had been longer. We were amazed how beautiful the gardens are and we made sure we walked round them and visited the castle before we left. We stayed in the Stable Courtyard and the room was excellent with all the facilities expected of a 5* hotel. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great too. Thanks to all the staff who were helpful and professional.”
