”Stayed over July 2nd. They were gearing up for the 4th but everything other than the main lodge was closed which was a bummer. The pool was great, and the place looks really awesome, just wish it had been more active.”

”Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. ”

”The room was very dated. It smelled like an old motel. The AC, although cooling, seemed to provide a certain dampness. I ended up sleeping with the window open to air out the room. The floor would sink at a certain spot. The room was clean and the property too. Good location. Not worth the money I paid for.”

”The room was clean. The lobby area and front yard were beautiful. The ac was not working in the room because they were working on the hvac system, but they had a roll in unit that worked fairly well. The back landscaping and parking lot needed some improvement. We enjoyed exploring the area of Stowe, and this hotel met our needs for one night.”

”This place is a hidden gem. The hotel has spacious and clean rooms. Our air conditioning worked just great ( in fact it got so cool at night that we had to shut the ac off in the morning). The location is perfect right next to downtown and near all recreational activities. However, the experience is nothing without helpful staff. Which brings us to Zane. What an amazing person! ”I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!”

”We absolutely loved staying here! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. Our kids especially loved the game room and the pool, and they had so much fun exploring the stream and walking path just outside the hotel—they didn’t want to leave! We also really appreciated the charming Austrian feel of the hotel, which made our stay even more unique and memorable. We would highly recommend this...
