We quite liked this hotel as it was charming and well thought out in many ways. We especially loved the dinner we had the first night. Our room had a fireplace and we loved that feature because it was a bit chillier than we expected. The only thing we would have wished for was a mini fridge in the room, but that’s not a huge deal breaker for us to return someday. It Is a nice walkable area and an easy to navigate town. Sadly, Bennington Pottery store isn’t open to the public anymore, but the town and surrounding area afforded us many diversions to fill up 3 days.

This is a beautiful quiet classic Vermont Inn. The food was great and the room was beautiful. Located in a lovely small Southern Vermont town. We enjoyed hiking nearby. Highly recommend.

Beautiful inn and restaurant. Owners and staff are extremely hospitable. They provide thoughtful amenities and create a warm, peaceful atmosphere for guests. We enjoyed meeting others at dinner and the piano bar/lounge; everyone shared our enthusiasm.

Quaint and beautiful property. The staff and services were very good but not seen much. Our first breakfast wasn’t as expected the potatoes were overcooked and the apple juice canned. The remaining breakfast’ were very good and perfect portions. Sorry we couldn’t have dinner there as planned but we‘ll just have to return next year!! 🤗😃

We loved our stay at the Four Chimney Inn. Great Inn in Bennington. We stayed in the small house in the back which was great for 4 people. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was great. The only strange thing is that the lounge is also the bar and it closes at 9:30pm which means there is no common area where you can sit and just relax.

I would recommend this Inn every good Loves a bed and breakfast and more. A French twist and a French restaurant. They were both magnificent and close to town and surrounding areas or made easy with the close proximity to highways. This is a must visit place rather than booking a hotel it's far better.

4Chimneys is a great place to stay if you like quiet, peaceful places. It is spacious and clean and the staff is always hospitable. They have a nice variety for their breakfast also.

Owners friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Grounds, including numerous gardens, are beautiful. Room was spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean. Lovely common rooms with games, books, beverages, etc. available. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property but we had a porch off 1st floor bedroom that you entered thru a French door with windows. Wasn’t totally private and the outside door of the porch didn’t lock. So not secure at all. Someone could easily get into our bedroom. They need to fix the locks on that porch. Also put a Curtin up on the inside door that covers the glass window better as it’s right near the bathroom.

A truly enjoyable stay. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. I stayed in the Ice house room and enjoyed a wonderful night sleep. The bed & linens were extremely comfortable. I’m looking forward to staying at the Inn again.

The Four Chimneys Inn is just absolutely charming. The innkeeper on duty when we arrived, Meg, was so warm and welcoming, and the Inn itself is unbelievably gorgeous. Our room was clean, pretty, and spacious, with beautiful view of the Inn's property. Breakfast in the morning was served (with wonderful service) in a lovely dining area. The whole thing made us want to spend more time at the Inn instead of going out to do the things we'd actually planned on doing!

We stayed in the carriage house, which was warm and cozy; the fireplace was a perfect source of heat, which we could turn down at night. The innkeepers were wonderful and friendly, and the breakfast ordering and designated times was perfect! THANKS for such a nice weekend! We will be back!!!

The time at the Four Chimneys was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and helpful with directions. The room was amazing! The breakfast was delicious! Will definitely go back! Looking forward to it.
