”River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we...

”We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely little cottage and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better location. Tucked away in a quiet spot but right in the heart of town, everything we needed was just a short stroll away – the beach within a minute, the harbour for crabbing, and plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy. ”We had a lovely time, thank you. The Honicombe Park Estate is fantastic, there is lots to do. The house was good though the kitchen was not the best layout, but we managed, also could do with another couple of outdoor seats on the balcony. However these were minor issues, and overall the adults, kids and dogs had a great holiday.”

I didn't think this location would be convenient, but with the bus stop at Crumplehorn Inn and Mill a 10min stroll away, and Waitrose grocery delivery readily available with timeslots throughout the day, we never felt stressed. All the vibes of a country fishing village (you have to do the hike to Looe!), with all the conveniences of modern life.The place...

”Absolutely beautiful place, beautiful location I cant fault anything. Pub and local store in easy walking distance. Just be aware no local public transportation except taxi which have limited availability. Wasnt a big issue but if you want to go into Plymouth it was £25 each way to the train station with one train an hour. We brought our telescope but unfortunately had cloud cover but would be a perfect location for evening of star gazing ”

”My husband and I stayed in "Hawkins" cottage at Portwrinkle and we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect for us and the cottage had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and well laid out. The hot tub was a great feature. One of the reasons we chose this cottage is because it has a conservatory overlooking the sea, in case of inclement weather. However, it was a beautiful week so we made full use of the terrace and garden. Our dog also enjoyed his stay and the lovely beach...

”Lovely place to stay roads a bit narrow but we never had a problem in a Range Rover the cottage was as I expected to go back in time to me it was a traditional Cornish cottage lovely surroundings and easy access to the places we wanted to go”
