Viikonloppu Berliinissä
Ibis Berlin City Potsdamer Platz oli loistavalla paikalla, useita nähtävyyskohteita ja ostosmahdollisuuksia kävelymatkan päässä. S-asemalle, Anhalter Str. noin 100m Hotelli oli todella siisti, huoneisiin ei kuulunut ääniä ja hotelli oli hiljaisen kadun varrella, Buffee aamiainen oli hyvä ja tavanomainen. Voisin yöpyä uudestaan. Suosittelen.

Laajassa kaupungissa hyvä sijainti, vaikka paljonhan Berliinissä joutuu metroa käyttämään. Aamupala hyvä+. Ilmastointi ei kovin hyvä, oikeastaan aika huono. Hyvät näkymät kuudennesta kerroksesta. Helteillä en suosittele huonon ilmastoinnin takia, muuten voisin harkita uusintaa.

OK hotelli asiallisella paikalla. Lähellä U-baana, joten matkalaukkuja ei tarvitse raahata pitkiä matkoja .

Pieni edullinen huone hyvällä sijainnilla
Loistava sijainti, hyvä aamiainen, viihtyisät ja värikkäät aulatilat. Huone pieni / 1 aikuinen ja 2 lasta, ei naulakkoa eteisessä, WiFi liian hidas videoille, muuten ok. Hotels.comin nettivaraussysteemi aika onneton - kysyy matkustajien määrät ja iät (1+2) mutta varaa huoneen kohteesta kahdelle. Perillä piti maksaa vielä yksi aamiainen vaikka luulin ne jo maksaneeni (hintojen vertailu ei siis käytännössä toimi)...

Ibis Berlin Potsdamer Platz
Henkilökunta oli kohteliasta, ja oli kiva, kun kolmen vuorokauden aikana oli suurinpiirtein samat henkilöt töissä, niin jopa tutustui heihin asioidessaan heidän kanssaan. Puhuivat todella huoliteltua saksaa (+), joten oli mukava asioida alusta loppuun asti saksan kielellä, vaikka se ei olekaan itselleni se vahvin kieli. Oli myös plussaa, että asiakkaiden käytössä oli kaksi ILMAISTA nettipäätettä, se tuli todella tarpeeseen.

Stay here was basically functional, at best. This hotel appears to have plumbing problems. The toilet in my first room ran constantly. They moved me to another room in which the temp control in the shower didn’t function. The rooms were bare and minimal. There was a tub mat and a bath towel, but no hand towels at all. The hotel also lacked a lounge area where guests could meet in the evenings. We were not permitted to use the breakfast area, although it was empty. Breakfasts were adequate. I will choose a different hotel if I ever get back to Berlin.

A nightmare that had to live And no where to go .Oh my god where do I start bathroom / and shower like space pod and smaller than train toilet the towels shabby and rags and nothing but 2 when I asked front desk gulios from Cameron and mat not helpful and say that is standard???? No hand towel only 2 ragy towels and for xterm towels they gave me floor mats instead?!? We had to change room 2 times due to the clogged sink?!!and the 2nd room no soap??! They calmly said oh that’s normal dust on floors flying and our trace companion who made our mistake and reserved there not much better 1st room had bathroom running all times and 2nd room after soaping her hair the shower had only boiling hot water???! So she rinsed herself with the glass from the sink since it’s small pod room?!? And checked in 2nd or 3rd room I think Expedia should be more responsible to categorize pension and college dorms as a legitimate hotel since ibis is not one with limited amenities and there goes 2days of our vacation with no customers service from gulios and mat in front desk only now next door to this colleg doorm/pension they have something called BUDGET IBIS ???? I wonder how would that be 🤔

Winzig, Teuer, nicht am Potsdamer Platz. Potsdamer Platz ist 1000m entfernt, Jackpoint Charlie ist 900m entfernt. Könnte also genauso inis City Hotel Jackpoint Charlie heißen. Das Parkhaus ist absolut eng, 17€/Tag was einem bei der Einfahrt nicht gesagt wird und auch im Parkhaus nicht steht. Erst auf Nachfrage beim Hotelpersonal haben wir diese Information bekommen. Die Zimmer sind winzig das man sich kaum rumdrehen kann, die Betten hart und das Bad ist ein fertigmodul wie man es aus Zügen kennt. Also durchgehend Plastik zum einmal rauskärchern. Berlin selber ist auch eine schrecklich hässliche Stadt. Nie nie wieder. Sind am Sonntag vorzeitig abgereist (gebucht und bezahlt war bis Donnerstag)

Trotz Klimaanlage war das Zimmer sehr warm und über Nacht zu lüften ist aufgrund des Lärms leider eine schlechte Idee. Es fehlte ein Mülleimer, die Sauberkeit war nur mäßig und das Zimmer hat schon bessere Tage gesehen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Lage in der Nähe des Anhalter Bahnhofs und des Potzdamer Platzes ist für die Erkundung der Stadt gut.

Great hotel for a reasonable price
I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room was a good size for a solo traveller but would also be OK for two people, although thereis not a lot of wardrobe room to hang clothing for two people. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was fairly spacious. The location is a short walk from Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. There are a couple of cafes around the corner as well as a Lidl. Tip: the Jasmine Thai massage at the end of the street is very good.

The key cards (bamboo with magnetic strip) are not fit for purpose & frequently didn’t work on first attempt to open rooms (experienced this with three different rooms on different floors). On one occasion it took three attempts at getting a replacement card before they provided a plastic one that actually worked each time requiring waiting for a lift back to reception & back & forth. Very time consuming & not what you want when returning to your room after a long day. Staff were helpful but the door kit let this venue down. Needs modernised.

Good location but these rooms are EXTREMELY basic, dread to think how the budget ibis next door could be any more budget. 1 plug socket, no kettle, clean enough and we only used it as a base but I probably wouldn’t stay there again

Ganz tolle Lage., wenige min. von Bus und S-Bahn Anhalter Bahnhof entfernt. Freundliches Personal, besonders die Herren vom Night Audit, Ihr seid klasse! Gutes Frühstück, sehr reichhaltig und tolle Auswahl (ja, auch Rührei und Bacon, das ist mir wichtig :-) , Das Zimmer ging auf die Straße und war absolut schalldicht. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen, bequeme Betten. Und ganz toll: von meiner Etage gelang ich mit dem Fahrstuhl direkt zur Parkhaus-Ebene. Also ein kurzer Weg zu meinem Auto, Prima !
