”I had great expectations for this stay since I’ve been to Wengen several times and I looked forward to stay at this hotel, that I value as the best there. It was a short stay to ski, so I arrived and I departed late. The reception closes at 16.00 so I found my room key waiting for me with a nice note and that’s it. After 16.00 there’s also no service to and from the station: a minor issue. I felt really unwelcome without a human contact with the reception: I can understand that at a “cheap”...

”More like a brad&breakfast than an actual hotel, this was a simple yet pleasant place to stay. Excellent location to explore the mountains nearby, good breakfast and friendly service. The room was large and tidy, nothing fancy but everything you need. A tip for fellow travellers: during the peak months it is necessary to book a table for dinner. ”

”We had a wonderful 3-night stay. The place is a stone's throw away from Interlaken West, and the hotel gives you a pass that allows for free traveling within Interlaken on city buses and the train between Ost and West. The hotel was incredibly quiet and even as rough sleepers, we slept very, very well. The breakfast was great also and kept us full until lunchtime. The only problem we had in our room was the shower -- it was impossible to control the temperature at all. Either ice cold or...

”Vähän elämää nähnyt hotelli pintojensa puolesta, aamiainen oli hyvä ja sijainti loistava ainakin näin junalla matkaa tehden (hotelli on tien toisella puolella juna-asemasta). Aseman läheisyys ei haitannut kuitenkaan yöunia. Palvelu hotellissa toimi hyvin englanniksi. Hotellin ympärillä oli paljon kuppiloita ja nopea tutustuminen Brigin kaupunkiin oli helppoa.”

”Practical accommodation during Jungfrau-marathon. The hotel is in an old house, you can hear some squeaky floors, etc. In a way it is part of the atmosphere. The lack of own bathrooms in the rooms is a clear minus. The personnel was really friendly and the breakfast was really good. Good value for the money.”
