”We just visited home Switzerland and stayed with Barbara and her Family in their Farmhouse in Emmental (Emmenmatt near Lauperswil). The location is perfect for a daytrip to Bern, Burgdorf but also to Interlaken, Thun and Swiss Alps. We had the groundfloor of the Farmhouse for our own (Ferienwohnung), and Barbara and family live on the 2nd floor. The Apartment comes with everything needed: Great Kitchen with Dishwasher, Coffee machine, Microwave, Oven….You can also buy from Barbara many farm-food...

Cool vibes at a good price
"The hotel has a cool luxury feel to it but it was a farily good price compared to other offerings in the city. The location is excellent, checking in and out is easy and the room was clean and nice. I especially liked the Bluetooth speaker and Chromecast in the room, although the in-house web radio didn't work. Still, the vibe was great. One thing to improve on would be the galley, a shared tea and coffee room with ironing equipment - a nice idea but the water for tea or coffee wasnt actually hot enough for either so just a regular kettle would have been better. In our floor there was also a lot of space right next to the galley where there could have been a sofa or something to make it cosier. The upstairs reception and bar has a great look and we were sorry to not have had time to visit it. Maybe next time!"
