Daniel, the owner who represents the 5th generation of his family to run the hotel, is incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast offerings are exceptional and always fresh. ”Hotel Berghof is located at Wilderswil near the city of Interlaken. The hotel was in very nice and scenic location on top of a hill. The views were fantastic and you could see the mountains, the town and the local life. Room was very large, nicely equipped and clean. Breakfast was also delicious.”

”We had a wonderful 3-night stay. The place is a stone's throw away from Interlaken West, and the hotel gives you a pass that allows for free traveling within Interlaken on city buses and the train between Ost and West. The hotel was incredibly quiet and even as rough sleepers, we slept very, very well. The breakfast was great also and kept us full until lunchtime. The only problem we had in our room was the shower -- it was impossible to control the temperature at all. Either ice cold or...

”It’s a simple hostel, but the room was clean and as advertised. The check-in system is automated and worked fine. You can pay 5 francs to check-in early. The balcony was nice; location was great.”
