The room was large and tidy, nothing fancy but everything you need. A tip for fellow travellers: during the peak months it is necessary to book a table for dinner. ”

”So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles...

”First the good. The hotel is next to the train station so you’re able to walk from the platform to the hotel in a minute. The location is great. Jacob in the bar was terrific. Great service and would go over and beyond. Next the not so good. Breakfast was probably the worst we had in Switzerland. It was busy but only one person waiting on tables so not the best service.
