”We knew in advance that the hotel was under heavy renovation/construction, but this did not detract much from the stay. The worse (?) was that the panorama of the Eiger N wall from the balcony was somewhat marred by a construction crane (see photo) - not a big deal. We found room to park at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. The room is nicely furnished. One small fault: not enough power outlets around and just one USB outlet. And confusing light switches that operate on a delay and take...

The views from the river-facing balconies are stunning, and the hotel strikes a lovely balance between old-world character and modern comfort. Staff were warm and helpful, and the location near Interlaken West station made day trips easy. A peaceful base with just the right touch of luxury.”

”Erinomainen sijainti ulkoilusta pitävälle rauhallisessa kylässä kävelyetäisyydellä juna-asemasta. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja maittava. Huone oli siisti ja sopivan kokoinen, mutta tyynyt olivat todella kovat ja epämukavat ja äänet kuuluivat seinien läpi turhan hyvin. Kokonaisuudessaan kuitenkin erittäine mukava paikka.”
