Perfect location and lovely property. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t cooperative and three days of our stay were not “beachable” due to high winds and crazy waves!! But you can’t help those things so we ventured out in the rain and wind and still had fun. The first photo shows a four foot ledge carved out of the beach!

Perfect stay!

My family and I had a perfect stay at this amazing beach house. The house is truly beautiful, serene and is right on the beach. There are amazing ocean views provided by many windows and balconies and the decor is fabulous. Tom was a great host and we are looking forward to coming back. You instantly feel relaxed in this incredible house. The beds were also comfortable, which is important. It was definitely one of the best vacations we have ever had and the kids agree. Thanks, Tom!

Plenty of room, plenty of views

Loved the 2 oceanfront bedrooms and all the views and light because it is an end unit and has windows on the north side. Comfortable furnishings but the beds are soft. The convenience of staying ocean front cannot be beat. Would recommend, but caution that the spiral staircase needs careful navigation.

Great experience

I held a celebration of life for my wife who passed away a year a ago. My wife and I had stayed here several years ago. The place allowed us to spend a lot of time together. But the layout of the rooms also allowed other some space when needed. The owner and I often talked and he is great and very responsive.

Great Home, Great Location, Literally WALK ONTO THE BEACH from the deck!

We enjoyed staying at the Tower Shores. The townhome has been renovated nicely - And the location is fantastic! WALK RIGHT ONTO THE BEACH FROM THE DECK! We loved that the property was between downtown Bethany and Rehobeth, as we like to frequent both towns. The Owners were very communicative & helpful when we had any questions before & during our stay; they even checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The neighbors we met (also Owners) were very kind too! We watched sunsets and sunrises from the balconies, and enjoyed hearing the waves all night long, it was incredibly tranquil. Overall, we had a great stay and would certainly consider returning! A few things of note: - The spiral staircase is certainly space saving, but quite dangerous for little kiddos. Our 2 year-olds gave us a few scares; but they did get better with the stairs as the days went on. - The home was surface-clean, but not at all deep cleaned; I do not fault the Owners for this, just want other renters to be aware, especially in times of COVID. We have small children and if anything went under a bed, nightstand, etc., it pretty much needed to be tossed. - We also had a fly & fruit fly issue, but I don't believe this was any fault of the Owners & they do provide fly swatters. I'd bring repellent. - The AC Units are older and will leak if they are on too low and there is ANY humidity in the air. The Owners are trying to fix this, but it can make the spiral stairs more dangerous and there wasn't really anything in the house to capture the water. - It is explained in the welcome letter, but the door to the washer/dryer is super difficult to get open, so have patience. - Also as explained, absolutely NO linens or towels (including bath mats) are provided. Be sure to bring your own (hand and dish towels must be brought too).

First family reunion after pandemic

We wanted a place with plenty of screened and outside options to allow for good ventilation even though we were all vaccinated. We were all comfortable visiting with each other as well as having private Zen time as needed. A few other family members stayed at place down the street because there are basically 3 bedrooms in this house and we had 3 more adults. This was fine but worth knowing. The location is the crown jewel of this place - as well as its modern renovation compared to other places that were still very dated. Tom and Jim were wonderful hosts and the neighborhood summer manager was accomodating and very friendly. What a perfect way to enjoy family and replenishing ocean. Ocean access allowed for flexibility for everyone.

Lovely home with lovely views

We loved our stay, the easy access to the beach, and the views of the ocean and adjacent state park. This is an end unit so you have great views in multiple directions. To be right on the water was a real treat. The whole home was clean and nicely decorated, with laundry on site. We felt right at home. Kitchen has a big fridge and is well-stocked with the pots, pans, and tools you’d want to use. We cooked most nights during our stay. There is a gas stove, which is a minus for me for environmental reasons, but I do know that a lot of people love them. The spiral staircase was no problem for my 3 (nearly 4) year old and my parents in their 70s, though any home in this development will just with have lots of steps - it’s something to keep in mind if someone in your group has issues with mobility. Bring hangers, as there is limited drawer space in some rooms, but there are good closets. Overall we loved it and my 8 year old has already insisted we always stay at this exact home each time we go to the beach, so I may be fighting you all to book this listing next year! : )

Perfect family friendly beach spot

The perfect property for a fun family vacation. Highlights were quick to access the beach and beautiful ocean views from every angle. My kids loved the spiral staircase while I loved the screened-in porches. The home was updated and stylish. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip and would recommend this rental without hesitation. Thank you to the owners for a great stay and for being so responsive.

Great location and beautifully designed

The house was well designed just the kitchen was a bit tight with narrow cabinets and not well stocked regarding: serving platters or small bowls for olives etc or a proper salad bowl , most glasses were plastic not fun for good wine. Instead the range and other appliances were fantastic, the laundry room full of all beach equipments was very convenient. I just wished the king size beds were firmer as the rooms were beautiful with fantastic views. The owners and the manager were superb!

Beautiful Property, Gorgeous Views Right on the Beach

This is a gem of a house, steps from the beach, with views from all three floors of the beach and the ocean, and north along the beach to the inlet bridge. House is in terrific condition, newly renovated, tasteful decor, a joy to be inside. We look forward to a return visit!

Best Beach Getaway from DC

We had never visited the Delaware beaches, and this was the best possible experience we could have had with two young children. Tom and Jim are amazing hosts, and the location right on the beach can't be beat. We could enjoy the views all day even when the kids wanted to play inside or were napping. The decor was very tasteful, and the amenities were everything we needed to feel home away from home. We can't wait to go back!

Best EVER

Aside from the cleanliness, (which I spoke to the owners about and they offered to remedy) our stay here was the best vacation we have ever had. The view, the location, the house...we couldn’t have asked for more. The owners were such a pleasure to deal with, they are wonderful people. I’m so grateful to have found this gem!! It was the perfect place to make memories...looking forward to going back next summer!

Beautiful House with breathtaking views

This was one of our best vacations. The house has been remodeled to perfection and the views of the water on each floor is just amazing to wake up to every day. Vacationed with my family including my two and four year olds and they loved it ! Perfect for children to walk out onto the beach and play throughout the day. I would advise to be aware of the winding stairs with small children, but we made it work! Can’t wait to come back. Will definitely be booking again next Summer !
