Memorial Day Getaway
Check-in: very efficient with the code, however it was a cluster trying to get to the office to get our IDs and parking pass. These could've been left in the unit so we did not have to fight parking to get to the office.
Unit: The décor was nice. Cleanliness and the layout were lacking. Many of the furnishings are showing serious signs of age. The pullout couch was broken. The king bed came off the risers part way through the weekend. The door lock does not fully lock sometimes. The deck was quite eerie at night given a lack of lighting. Both living room chairs creaked extensively. The bathroom is EXTREMELY tight. A person of any size will have difficulty entering the bathroom, using the toilet, and using the shower. That space was made for a half-bath, not a full bath.
Cleanliness: This was one of the worst units we've rented through either of the main STR rental sites. We were extremely excited when my wife found little debris from her Clorox wipedown. Short-lived excitement. Sheets from a prior renter were left on the pullout couch. We found food residue in the couch and on the floor. Stains on the linens for the pullout bed. There were no extra linens for the pullout couch, so we had to give linens from the king bed for our son to sleep which left us with nothing to use because we found what looked to be blood stains on the king bedspread. We ended up buying our own linen sets and disinfecting prior to re-making the beds.
Resort: AWESOME!!! We loved all the amenities!
