Rantahotelli Suuri upea talo, ei autoa tarvita

  • Suuri, tilava 2700 neliön jalka talo. Talo sijaitsee aivan järven rannalla, josta on upeat näkymät vesille. Voit käynnistää kajakin, kanootin tai meloaulan heti talon takaosan telakalta. Tunnit hauskaa järvellä! Naapurustossa on myös 2 tenniskenttää, joita voit käyttää.

    Talo on vain 1 mailin päässä tieltä Bethanyn kaupungista ja rannalta. Helppo 20 minuutin kävelymatka rannalle, mutta vielä parempi, vaunu pysähtyy talon edessä. Vaunu kulkee kesällä puolitunnin välein ja pudottaa sinut suoraan rannalle ja kaupunkiin. Joten pysäköi auto, mene rannalle päivällä, nauti kaupungin ravintoloista illalla, ja seuraavan kerran pääset autoosi, kun lähdet kotiin. Jos haluat ajaa rannalle, se on vain 5 minuutin ajomatkan päässä ja käytettävissäsi on 2 pysäköintikorttia.

    Päätasossa on iso avoin olohuone / ruokasali. Olohuoneessa on täysi ikkuna, josta on upeat näkymät järvelle. Siellä on taulutelevisio ja DVD. Talossa on kaapeli ja langaton internetyhteys. Ruokasalin ulkopuolella olevassa suuressa keittiössä on graniittiset ja ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetut laitteet. Kuistilla seulottu ruokasali on vesinäköalalla. Siellä on oleskelutila ja myös pieni ruokailutila. Kävele suojatulla kuistilla ulkopuolella pääkerroksen kannelle, ja siellä on suuri oleskelutila, josta on upeat näkymät vesille.
    Siellä on myös iso makuuhuone, jossa oma kylpyhuone päätasolla, niin upea niille, jotka eivät pidä portaista. Kylpyhuoneen vieressä on pesutupa, jossa täysi pesukone / kuivausrumpu.

    Toisen kerroksen portaita ylöspäin on parvi käytävä, joka näyttää pääkerrokseen. Suuressa makuuhuoneessa on oma kylpyhuone graniittisineillä. Huoneessa on myös TV. Makuuhuoneen ulkopuolella ovat liukuovet yläkerran kannelle. Tässä kannella on 2 kiesitiloista ja oleskelutila, josta on merinäköala. Siellä on vielä 2 makuuhuonetta, joissa on kylpyhuone.

    Talo on erittäin perheystävällinen. Kerrossänkyhuoneessa lipasto on lipasto / hoitopöydän yhdistelmä. Kaapissa on muuttuva tyyny. Sinun tarvitsee vain tuoda vaihtava tyynynpäällinen. Tarjolla on myös vaippahermot ja pakata ja pelata kaapissa käyttöä varten. Lisäksi kerrossänkyhuoneessa on laatikko leluja, jotka pitävät lapset viihdyttävinä tuntikausia.

    Talo nukkuu 13 ihmistä yllä mainitulla järjestelyllä, ja se on vuokraamme sallittu enimmäismäärä matkustajia.

    Ajotie on riittävän suuri 4-5 auton pysäköintiin. Talon oikealla puolella on ulkosuihku. Järvi, jolle talo istuu, liittyy kanaviin, jotka yhdistyvät lahdelle. Olet kadulla Bethanyn rannalta ja 10 minuutin päässä Fenwick Islandilta ja Dewey Beachiltä, 15 minuutin päässä Ocean Citystä ja 20 minuutin päässä Rehoboth Beachiltä. Niin loistava sijainti ja lähellä kaikkia rantoja, jos haluat tutustua useampaan kuin yhteen.

We loved how close to the beach we were but still felt like we were nestled in a lakeside home. Like getting the best of both worlds! Lovely home and beautiful views and plenty to do nearby. It was perfect for our girls weekend !

Wonderful and the transporation was excellent. Fishing at the back door. My Grandson got up early every day and fished we had to drag him in at dark. I think its a bit much to buy a license for a few day of back yard fishing.

Nice location, great house!

The first impression wasn't great with the house not seemingly cleaned, but quick response from owner, and overall wonderful stay here! Loved the access to the lake/canals/salt pond, what a beautiful bonus to the Bethany Beach location! Loved the trolley, we barely drove anywhere!

Watching herons

The house is restfully colorful and commodious. We had lots of family for dinner with no space problems and plenty of seating. We enjoyed kayaking with our inflatable kayaks. We especially enjoyed drinking our coffee qwatching baby herons in their high nest

Beautiful Home

The pictures for this listing does not do it justice. This home is beautiful and clean in a very peaceful neighborhood. Close to everything and easy to get around, especially with the Trolley which passes right by the house and will take you down to the beach area. Our host was responsive and very accommodating. We were 3 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend this home and will definitely book again when visiting that area in the future.

It’s a decent place to stay but not worth the price. It’s too far from the beach to walk. Have to drive or take the trolly. Not providing towels and sheets was a boomer. We had to use a local company to get sheets and towels for everyone.costly and very inconvenient. They leave them outside and you’ve got to figure out and make the beds yourself. Also kitchen appliances, pans, pots and overall day to day use should be updated and more organized and less damaged. Patio furnitures damaged and cushions very dirty. We used towels to sit and use them.

A Perfect Getaway

A beautiful house with a scenic view of the lake! The location was perfect and the neighborhood seemed safe - also close to downtown Bethany and the beach. We didn't use the trolley but nice to know we could hop on right in front of the house. Kayaking in the lake and through the canals was nice and peaceful. There were so many interesting birds to see along the way. The owner was very responsive and also provided tips/recommendations about the area which was very helpful. We had a great time!

Great Bethany Vacation Spot

Home was really great for our Bethany vacation with friends. It looked just like the pictures and had plenty space for us. The water view from the back deck is beautiful in the morning and the Bethany Trolley out front makes getting to the beach a breeze (be sure to bring your quarters for the ride). The owner had a nice welcome package and was responsive during the booking process. We only had minor issues...kids were a little bummed that the foosball table didn’t work very well and the pots/utensils in the kitchen were functional, but well used. Overall, i’d Recommend this place to others, the location couldn’t be beat!

Clean and comfortable

Great location. Only down side was the noise echos due to few carpets and high ceilings with open bannisters to top floor. I could hear everything the person in the kitchen was doing, up in my room unfortunately. (Like making early morning coffee!). So just something to be mindful of, if your group isn’t all on the same page waking up! But not deal breaker!

Wonderful week but property needs attention

Lovely property, great location, quiet and convenient. The home itself, however is in need of deep cleaning and repairs. For example, some hardware on the doors of the kitchen cabinets were totally missing ( this had been mentioned in a previous review but obviously not attended to), screen door to backyard doesn’t fit correctly, big gap at bottom ( also noted before our visit). The tub was stained brown from water issues I suppose, but my postpartum daughter in law was on her hands and knees trying to clean it so her little children could use it. I was so embarrassed about that. No mirror in first floor bedroom, fans and return vents covered in dust and grime, antenna in master bedroom SCOTCH TAPED to the wall. Windows look like they have never been washed. Screened in porch needs an outdoor fan. Mini blinds with cords are a choking hazard and need to be updated. All that being said, we enjoyed our week at the beach for many other reasons. We just feel this property needs some deep cleaning and attention. Would love to rent again, but will not consider unless property is given some attention.

Lake house Getaway close to the Beach

There were 8 of us in the party. The house was perfect. Close enough to the beach to enjoy everything and far enough to not be in the craziness. The house was clean and exactly what we were needing for the weekend.

As always love BB, home was disappointing

Wonderful location! Quiet, peaceful spot. On the lake. Shuttle pick up at door. Watching Osprey, Blue Heron and Cormorants was fabulous. Trees with many different nest. All fantastic pluses for this home. Home itself was overall disappointing. Needs some TLC and deep cleaning. On arrival we cleaned the entire house. Floors, tabletops, counters, bathroom and all touch surfaces. In the owners defense we did not contact him. We witnessed the cleaning company leaving and didn’t feel calling them back would be helpful. It smelled like they sprayed some fragrant cleaner but did very little cleaning. We decided to clean the entire place ourselves. For the price charged ~ we expected a higher end, well cared for home. It is not. Several kitchen cabinets are missing hardware, cannot fully open dishwasher as broken bottom stove drawer impedes it’s opening, Dining room chairs and upholstered chair (its a removable cover) are dirty and need care. We left the home in far better condition they when we arrived. We have been visiting BB since 1993 ~ we will not stay here again. We were expecting a well loved home.

Wonderful Property - Super Location

This is a beautiful home with incredible ammenities. The trolley that stops right in front of the house to shuttle you to the beach is awesome. The neighborhood is quiet and the nature surrounding the property is wonderful for people of all ages. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Overall we had a great weeks vacation! The property is as shown on the photos. The location is wonderful, the trolley is very convenient, and the community is very nice! There are a few things that do need attention or upgrading, such as screen doors on the enclosed porch do not close, and one screen area is torn, so you really aren’t keeping the bugs out. Also all the toilets ran most of the time, and the upstairs bathroom door was barely on hinges, I actually fell off and the men in our group were able to put it back up , but there are things that need to be taken care of.

Beautiful lake getaway

We had a blast at this property! We brought our kayaks and a SUP. It was the perfect spot for these types of watercraft. There were so many places to explore! House views of the lake and water fowl were incredible. Host was very responsive, too! Loved this vacation!!.

Location, location, location!!!

We spent the weekend at this property and we were so pleased! You open the front door and immediately see the huge windows with the lake view. Beautiful!! The home is a quick 5 minute drive to the Bethany boardwalk, and with the parking pass included, finding parking was easy… even when it was crowded!! The owner was accommodating, quick to respond to any questions, and made it an easy check in and check out. We will definitely book this house again!

Amazing, Serene & Pleasant Lake House!

The Bethany Lake House was an absolutely wonderful stay! The property managers are very accommodating in that they met our specific requirements. The house was very clean, quiet and as advertised the lake view is just stunning. We rented a kayak from a nearby business "Coastal Kayaks", great people! We kayaked around the island and into some of the channels, just serene and pleasant as can be. Bethany Beach is literally 7 mins drive and takes you straight to the Boardwalk Shops. The house hosts are very responsive and provide many other items to the stay-cation package that which one can choose to do. We have "favourited" the Lake House and will most definitely be coming back to stay again, with unanimous votes. Thank you so much Thuy! - The Weekenders

Beautiful location for this Lake House

We had a great stay and enjoyed our time in this beautiful and well kept property. The owner was very responsive to our questions. It’s a great location with access to Bethany Beach.

Review

Loved the house and location. Very quiet neighborhood. Lake outside was great and trolley convenience was great. Lots of room in house so we didn't feel on top of each other. Only problem - the downstairs bedroom was never cool .

Ideal Location

Such an enjoyable 2-week stay at this beautiful house on a lake with easy access to Bethany Beach! I spent every morning drinking coffee on the back porch, watching the herons right across the water. My husband took his canoe right off the dock in back to the Salt Pond and crabbed each day, and the kids and I took kayaks around the lake and canals. My kids also enjoyed the quick drive to Bethany Beach and the trolley that stops right outside the house. No need to choose between a beach and lake vacation at this house- it was the best of both worlds! The house itself had plenty of room, was well-stocked and offered beautiful views out onto the lake. The owner was very responsive and kind-- we would book again in a heartbeat!
