”Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! ”
”Fun place to stay. Very comfortable but don't expect the normal room layout. If creaking floors bother you, ask for a room on the highest floor. The building is old with original flooring. That said, the little restaurant is superb. The cook is great and as she is the wait staff so is the staffing. There are places to sit and read or look out the windows at the views. The campus is quite lovely. It's history will interest many. ”

There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival).

”Just park your car and walk to see Staunton Historic District. The rental was AWESOME!!!! Just like the pictures. Nice neighborhood.
