House just the right size for our group with 3 double bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, lovely south facing garden & good size lounge. Negatives are that all the floorboards upstairs are very noisy, as are the 2 showers, to the extent that they couldn't be used if people were sleeping. We also found a pair of secateurs on the wall outside which was a massive concern as our 5 year old granddaughter was with us! The keyholders...

”Adorable and quirky little house, oozing with character. Comfy beds, great location for local shops and restaurants, and as a base to explore the area. Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. The Combat Collection at Cobatton, and Instow beach (both recommended by the host) are worth a visit, and my boys (16 & 14) loved outdoor laser tag at Survival Combat Games.”

”We had a great time at Sea La Vie. It's a fab location, just sit outside to hear the sea and waves coming in, and that's pretty much all you can hear apart from the odd seagull! It's so quiet. Great base for a relaxed surfing holiday. Really well equipped kitchen. We didn't get in the car once in 8 days as there was everything we needed within a short walk. Highly likely we'll be back!”

”My family (6 adults and 5 children) stayed at Westward Ho!me between 25 May and 1 June 2024. The house is stylishly decorated, extremely comfortable and very well-equipped. It is and ideally located for the beach at Westward Ho! which is a safe walk across Northam Burrows of a 5-10 minutes. ”We absolutely loved our stay at High Park House - the gardens/grounds and space are stunning and work brilliantly for a large group (we were 14). There are very small things that we noted that are ways to perfect (so not complaints) - move fridge closer to the kitchen, cords for the blinds to be brackets, vacuum under beds and bit a bit more thorough with cleaning as some dusty/cobwebby corners and plugholes, outside front patio could do with a clean, fix the second bulb in the swimming pool...

”We were welcomed on arrival by Anne-Louise. She gave us lots of useful information about the area. Paul then gave us a further tip about a great beach. The accomodation was lovely, the area very quiet but with excellent facilities nearby - including a large supermarket and shopping village. The welcome milk and cream tea were quite literally very welcome and in all the ambience of the Coach House was super. The pool was amazing! We will definitely be returning. ”The property was perfect for a couple and dog. Close to amenities and beaches, but also rural with lovely views. The barn has been converted to a high spec, with modern fixtures and fittings, and plenty of room to spread out. The pool is an added bonus. Everything was sparkling clean and communication over directions and check in was clear and easy.”
