”Honestly, the stay at the room was great. No complaints.
But I take serious issue with showing up after having made the reservation on Expedia to be informed that there was a mandatory $12 parking fee that they only charge if you book through a 3rd party website.
I don’t care about the $12, but I do care about surprise charges. What if I had showed up and the parking fee was $75, etc. It’s not like the parking fee is optional up at Big Sky, you are going to pay to park there.

”Finished off a Yellowstone and Teton trip here for an overnight stay before flying back home and it met all our needs and beyond. Traveling with a friend's family, one of the highlights of the trip for all our children was the hour they spend in the pool and slide (while the husband enjoyed the hot tub) for which we were grateful. It provided some breakfast items (have to try the frozen burrito which was so delicious when heated up), had free laundry and detergent. Totally would stay again and...

”Staff was friendly and the rooms were nice. They look like they've been updated. The main lobby looks a little dated. Breakfast buffet was nice and provided several options. They do offer valet parking. Self Park is down the hill in a separate lot. There are two heated pool options that are both nice. My family used the Shoshone pool. Unrelated to the hotel directly, there were people drag racing luxury cars in the community so we could hear the noise in the hotel from the drag racing.”

”Great location on the mountain with very nice views of everything. We went the first week of the summer season so it was probably a little quieter than peak season and the staff were just getting into the swing of things, but everyone was very attentive and we enjoyed the amenities. Everything was clean and comfortable and enjoyed having a very well stocked kitchen for cooking our own meals. Full oven/range and dishwasher were nice to have, we were even able to bake banana bread and muffins....
