”I checked in online but still had to go to the desk when I got there to get my room key. There were 4 people checking-in in front of me. Each check in took over 5 minutes. I stood there for over 30 minutes waiting to check-in. Then we got our room key and went to our room. It was dirty. Clearly never wiped down. The bathroom counter had hairs on it as well as water rings from the previous persons stay. The breakfast was sparse. They did not refill anything. Breakfast was 6-9. We...

”What a really wonderful hotel. Excellent all the way around. Spacious, clean, nicely-appointed guest room, spacious bath with jacuzzi tub. An a-maz-ing breakfast buffet with hot food, for example, home-cooked oatmeal with fresh blueberries, dried cranberries, walnut halves, brown sugar, and more! Not instant, the real deal. Very friendly and professional staff. I'll stay there again if I'm ever in Carlisle, PA.”

”Entire property seemed worn and not well maintained. Our bathtub had a large puddle stain, the quiet close toilet seat was difficult to open and would not close on its own. The TV, while a good brand, did not have its original remote so they borrowed a remote from a DVD player. It took a trip to the front desk to get someone to decipher it's use. ”Located in Carlisle off I-81. Good and bad. Easy to find. Restaurants near by. Extreme traffic noise 24/7. Big trucks racing by all night. Since the exit is right there, trucks use their loud engine brakes to slow down. The hotel advertises breakfast, but a bird couldn't survive on what they offer. The coffee was good though.”

”Most of the staff members were incredibly helpful! Thank you! Our first room was not good—AC broke, bed fell due to support leg collapsing, toilet plugged, sticky floors—we couldn’t get help the first night. The next day I was helped by both women in the office. We were able to move to a different room in which everything worked except the TV. The evening staff member fixed it. She came to our room and made it function perfectly.”

”When I arrived at the hotel, no employee was at the front desk. I had to wait 25 minutes before the check in start. Also to change the TV channel is a adventure. The TV signal converter is mounted behind the furniture and the signal of the remote does not pass through the furniture. So to change TV channel, must go close to the wall and point the remote directly to the converter behind. The led on the remote was dark green.”

”Very reasonable priced for a busy time in Gettysburg. My room was recently renovated and there were plenty of choices for breakfast. The room was clean and the A/C worked well considering it was 96 degrees when I got to Gettysburg.”

”There was hair in the bathroom, only shampoo with no conditioner, no blow dyer. The room had a musty smell. They also charged a refundable 50 dollars for the room. That was not disclosed on Expedia. We also had a lovely view of the dumpster out of our window. Our sheets were stained. Charging a refundable 50 fee when the room was not up to far seems unfair it should be the other way around after I had to clean up the halr in the bathroom.”

Then we did find dried blood on the wall near the bathroom door. Unfortunately we didn't find that until the day we left or I would have asked for another room.
