Could not figure out how to lock the door via code pad. There is no staff on site, only a phone #. I called to get a recording that stated they were busy with other clients so you need to text and "hopefully" get a quick response. ”Do not let them put you in room 253 (room with a view and fridge) if you do not want to be woken up at 6am to body slamming like noises until 10am. The breakfast area is right above the room and it’s very loud. They never gave us a warning which I feel is taking advantage of people. If we would have known we would have booked the cheaper room or asked to be moved.”

”We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown. ”Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”
