”We had a very comfortable stay at woodland cottage. Everything we needed was available. .A great find.”

”Comfortable dwelling in a beautiful quiet location. Short walk to the roman villa and or the south downs way.”

”had a very good break, enjoyed the stay, apart from the weather, could do with a bit more garden for the pets”

”We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The hosts were helpful and the setting is idyllic with pheasants and wildlife all around. Close to lots of forest walks and to local pubs and to the pretty village of Petworth. We were at the cottage for almost three weeks and it felt like home when we left. Very central for a visit to West Sussex and all that it has to offer.”

”The White House Retreat was perfect for our 4 night stay . On entering you get the wow factor as it’s beautifully appointed and luxurious. The decor is modern and light with a stunning fireplace and upholstery. Bubbling hot tub on decking is the icing g on the cake . Very relaxing .Lots to do in the area . Worthing , Brighton Arundel and Chichester to visit and lots of pubs and restaurants nearby .”

”My second visit to the cottage visiting family in the area and once again my stay did not disappoint. Fabulous location, clean and very comfortable accommodation. Friendly host. Will be back again soon.”

”Lovely comfortable and cosy cottage should mention the railway and level crossing close to cottage but don’t let it put you off it didn’t cause any problem. It did say there would be a welcome pack but there was none, however we were told to help ourselves to fruit and tomatoes growing in the garden”

”Beautiful Annexe cottage. The owner lives next door and is very helpful. Well-equipped and clean. Small kitchen but adequate. Other rooms are large and spacious. Would happily return.”

It would also have helped if there had been a sofa bed in the study, as we had two boys who did not wish to share a double bed and we had two girls in the twin bedded room.. A good size garden and patio, although lack of umbrellas meant that we needed to move the furniture around to avoid the (very hot) sun. Easy to access Chichester, the beach at...

”My family of 4 (including kids aged 5 and 8) had an incredible time at the Cottage over the course of 4 nights. The entire property is gorgeous and the hosts were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. Our stay coincided with a period of warm weather so we got to enjoy beautiful summer evenings strolling about on a countryside estate watching foxes play on the adjacent field. My kids enjoyed picking strawberries from the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The cottage itself was cozy,...
