”Had a lovely meal, during our stay, for our daughter's graduation. We also had cocktails which were excellent. The option of air conditioning would be a bonus, but we were provided with a fan and the fact that you can open a window meant that we had a comfortable room temperature. All the staff were lovely, Lesley was particularly helpful. We have stayed here previously and the refurbishments have made it an even better experience.”

”Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....

We were travelling around Norfolk n wanted an hotel as a mid travel stop off. We couldn’t have found a better place. So much so we booked for our return trip.
The hotel and the team from , reception to housekeeping to restaurant team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble.

We were very impressed with her, from the fact that she changed our room so that we would be less disturbed by the inevitable functions that were on at the time of our stay, to remembering what we like to drink and being so cheerful and friendly at all times.

”Excellent short, one night stop here, arrived about 1800, check in was smooth and quick, staff helpful and friendly, only a short walk to the room. The room was massive clean and the bed very comfortable. It was Sunday night and there was a painter in the corridor decorating, but quiet and no bother. Room had all the expected; toiletries, towels, Wi-Fi, large tv and even a trouser press.
