Externally harassed by homeless couple asking for money on approach to hotel. Parking is in the multi storey station car park, great smell of urine on each entry way! Upside it’s not a long walk to the hotel but I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it if I was alone travelling. Bonus you get reduced parking fees. ”I booked a one night stay at the Dakota as a stop on a way back home in Scotland from France. This was a good accommodation with everything that travelers could require for an one night stay. Room presented to be clean, beds comfortable, towels ready to be used and shower clean too. The only issue I had experienced was with the doors, which presented to be not sound proof, and people leaving other apartments late at night could be heard in the room me and my family occupied.”

”A beautiful property located in a peaceful area with a complimentary breakfast. I stopped during the recent heatwave and was pleased I had packed my mini travel fan as my room had the sun in the afternoon, usually this would have been a treat, just not on this occasion. My room was on the ground floor and initially I thought, that’s no problem… except the windows face the garden and communal outside seating, so make sure you close the curtains to spare any blushes.. ”If you want straight lines and new, this is not for you but. If you’re like us and like a really lovely experience in an old coaching inn you’ll love it here. The staff are fantastic Robert the owner great guy. The breakfast is to die for. On a warm night sitting in the courtyard amongst the greenery and when the lights come on it’s magical. Thank you so much guys you’re clientele were so nice to us to. This is a reflection of your hosting. Be back soon 👍👍 oh and buy the way the ale was good...

”Nice, comfortable bedroom but you could hear the noise from the road. View to a meadow. English breakfast ok, but I missed cheese and cold cuts on my slice of bread. Gym was good. Nothing to do within short walking distance, and I didn't find a nice route for evening walk either. I stayed here because had a meeting here, but next time would opt for a hotel in town.”
