The wide sandy and secluded beach at Minnis Bay is nearby, leading to the bustling village of Birchington-on-Sea (1 mile) which has a choice of great places to eat and drink, alongside a lovely promenade and the Powell-Cotton Museum situated within the impressive Quex House and Gardens. For cyclists, the Viking Coastal Trail leads along to Margate and Broadstairs, with landmarks including Turner Contemporary, Dreamland Margate and the Dickens House Museum, all within 9 miles. Heading west, highlights include Reculver Beach, Herne Bay and the characterful resort of Whitstable, all within 17 miles.


This cheerful, relaxing and light-filled retreat features an airy and welcoming kitchen/diner which is perfect for rustling up a light meal or simple breakfast before you head out to explore an idyllic part of Kent. Featuring a Smart TV, ample seating and plenty of equipment, the kitchen/diner also provides a cheery spot for you to get together and relax in the evenings. Heading through, you will find a cosy, stylishly arranged lounge with a TV and sofa offering a quiet spot for curling up with a good book. The sofa transforms into a bed suitable for an extra guest. Exploring the ground floor further there’s a bright and invigorating shower room. Stairs lead from the kitchen up to a lovely mezzanine-level bedroom decorated in tasteful, soothing shades and with a plush double bed.


Going outside, the sunny and cheerful patio area has a table and stools, offering a quiet and relaxing spot for dining alfresco. Private parking is available for one car approximately 60 metres away from the cottage.
