”The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing and the gorgeous bathroom was my favorite part. Gutters bowling alley was so much fun. Caught a show at Lou Lou’s, had dinner at Quixote’s and breakfast at Beginner’s diner. I wanted to experience all these things at this hotel and everything exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately did not use the pool as all the lounge chairs were taken. Maybe next time.”

”This is a place to stay if you need to sleep, shower and use the restroom, one of the staff was incredibly rude… if I could have gotten a refund I would have just because of her. Other than that the room floors are nasty you can tell they haven’t been cleaned in a while, the shower water was warm and just warm not anything above that. The outside of the property was also poorly maintained (they have trash everywhere), and people clearly live in the hotel. Also if you’re wanting something close...

”The hotel is in a perfect location. It’s right next to the beach. It’s a pet friendly hotel. Checks all the boxes.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The free chairs and towels set up on the beach was a very very nice touch.
The only negative comment would be about the elevators. The elevators had a strong odor of dog urine. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.”

”Location is a benefit for this hotel. Room was clean but a little dated. A window was cracked the length of the window. Notified front desk and they were aware of it but not sure when they plan to repair. Place was quiet and the staff was helpful. Continental breakfast has limited options. We stay in San Diego about three times a year and like staying at different places. Looking forward to next stay but pretty sure it will not be at this hotel.”
