”It’s possible a lot of what I found disappointing in the property was poor timing. The hotel was sold on Sunday and we checked in Tuesday. After a long day of traveling we just wanted to check in, relax at the bar with a drink, and go to sleep. However, the bar wasn’t open. We were then told the elevator wasn’t working and but thankfully we were only on the 2nd floor. The continental breakfast was yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, or bagels…. but no toaster. ”Great experience. Historic like hotel. Will book again. Clean room and bathroom was renovated. Friendly staff. Helped me to bring my bag up stairs. I had dinner at the restaurant with live music. Delicious food and a taste of American culture through the locals and their music. Lovely evening! The ride from Longwood Gardens to the hotel is gorgeous and takes about half hour.”

”We stayed in the guesthouse which was very nice. Only problem was the coffee pot in the entryway would not work. We just walked to the office and got coffee. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Loved the breakfast at the cafe which is right besie the Inn. Inn gives you a $12.00 voucher for each person to eat there and it was excellent and plentiful. Also the girls at the desk at the Inn were very friendly and helped you with any questions. Would highly recommend this Inn.”
